Chupp's Hot Rods

Introduces Something Different

3/4 Scale '32 Ford Roadster

As Seen in the June 2004 Edition of Street Rodder Magazine!

It is difficult to build a hot rod that stands out and is unique. It seems that everything has been done before. This car was a fun exercise with a focus to reintroduce a car that is both affordable and unique.

This car that you see was built for approximately $10,000 in parts. With an average street rod in the $30-50k range, this car opens up a lot of possibilities to those who cannot, or prefer not to, spend that kind of money.

I can see the car built in a Dry Lakes style or Nostalgic style, as the one pictured. What about a 4 banger or a Quad-4 Olds in a High Tech style? Maybe a transverse 4 from a smaller front wheel drive car, in the rear? There are many possibilities at a very affordable price!

The frame is built from .134" thick laser cut steel - same as the full size cars; fully boxed with front rear spreader bars and center K member. K member has a drop out section for rear transmount.

Body comes with double skinned deck lid that is hinged.

    · Preformed fiberglass interior installed

    · Dash included

    · Hood top and grill shell included

    · Body is pre-mounted to frame so no fitting is necessary.

'70's Nissan pick-up rear ends (which we used) are readily available in any wrecking yard in our area for about $75. This rear axle is right width without modification.
